How to duplicate a loan in Encompass and send it to Blend

Learn how to duplicate an existing loan file in Encompass and send it to Blend to create a follow-up-only loan.

Duplicate the loan file in Encompass

  1. Find the loan you wish to duplicate in the Encompass pipeline.
  2. Right-click on the loan file and select Duplicate Loan...enc_duplicate_loan.png
  3. Select Duplicate the selected loan and choose the desired folder and the loan duplication template then click OK to proceed.

  4. A new loan will be duplicated in Encompass including all the information from the original loan except for the Blend Integration form. Click Yes on the confirmation box to open the duplicate loan and proceed to the next steps to send it to Blend.enc_duplicate_loan_confirmation.png

 

Push the loan to Blend as a Follow-up-only application

The loan file is now duplicated in Encompass, follow the steps below to send the loan file to Blend. Please note that the loan will be created in Blend as a Follow Up application.

  1. Click the B button
  2. Click Manage Documents

  3. A Blend Loan Creation confirmation box will pop up, click Yes to proceed

The loan file is now sent to Blend and the borrower will receive an invitation email. Click Save to apply changes.

To confirm the loan was sent to Blend you can search for it using the loan number assigned in Enconpass or navigate to Forms > *Blend Integration* to find the Blend UUID. The borrower IDs and other Blend information should be populated accordingly.
