Maintenance Announcements (2)

(New) EKS AMI Upgrade

Will there be downtime associated with this maintenance?

Yes. During the maintenance window, users may experience short periods of downtime affecting features and services in both the borrower app and the lender app. All services may be intermittently impacted as workloads are restarted.

What services or products are affected?
All Blend services will be affected and may experience short, intermittent interruptions during the maintenance window.

How will this impact the borrower app?
Borrowers may experience brief periods where features in the borrower app are unavailable or slow to respond while workloads are restarted.

How will this impact the lender app?

(New) One Span Maintenance

Update 1/8/2025: The OneSpan maintenance has been postponed to 1/16/25, 9-10PM.

One of Blend’s eSign vendors, OneSpan, has announced recurring downtime for maintenance windows. These downtimes will result in periods where Blend lender and applicant users will not be able to create new eSign envelopes or sign outstanding envelopes.’

Will there be downtime associated with this maintenance?

Yes, there will be downtime. Existing e-sign tasks will be able to be re-opened once maintenance is over. Failed creation of disclosures, closings, or other e-sign tasks will not automatically be retried. Users will need to re-attempt creating or issuing e-sign tasks.

What services or products are affected?

E-sign tasks utilizing Onespan will be affected. This includes creating new disclosure packages, closings, and some follow-up e-sign tasks.

How will this impact the borrower app?

Borrowers will be unable to access or complete outstanding e-sign tasks. This does not impede in-progress applications but may affect a borrower’s ability to review or sign any previously delivered disclosure packages, closings, or other e-sign follow-ups.

How will this impact the lender app?

Lenders will be unable to open the Onespan signing task for disclosure packages requiring lender signatures or create any e-sign follow-ups.

What are the affected periods for beta?
