We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Date Available: Beta 9/29, Prod 10/27
Which customers are impacted?: All lenders are impacted.
Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.
How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above.
Purpose of Update and Benefit: Lenders and title agents previously had to contact Blend Support to resend borrower emails from the Communications tab. This update adds a Resend button to each email entry, letting lenders and title agents re-trigger notifications directly without a support request.
Current Behavior: The Communications tab displays a log of all emails sent to borrowers (for example, account creation prompts, document review requests, and closing appointment confirmations). To resend a borrower notification, lenders or title agents must contact Blend Support.
New Behavior: Each email entry in the Communications tab has a “Resend” button. Clicking it re-sends the email to the original recipients with the original content. No edits to the email or recipient list can be made at this time.
The resent email appears as a new entry in the Communications tab, and the action is recorded in the Activity feed.
Note: Emails that contain one-time links cannot be resent. These entries will display a “Resend” button that is disabled with a tooltip explaining the restriction.
Additional note: Resending an email manually does not affect the automated reminder schedule. Automated reminders will continue to be sent as configured.
