Viewing the loan file in Settlement Agent Workspace

Within a loan file, you will have several features available to you and be able to see any tasks you need to complete.

Loan Details

The details in the banner above include the lender name, loan number, loan amount, borrower name, subject property address, the closing date and closing type.

Instructions

When you click on instructions, it will provide a quick popup with details on tasks that can be completed within the loan file. The Blend Close Support contact information is also available if you need immediate help.


Upload Closing Package

The button to upload a closing package will be enabled starting the day of the closing. The following screen will pop up:

Schedule Closing Appointment / Closing Appointment Section

The scheduling task is an optional feature. For more details on how the scheduling feature works, please refer to the article: Settlement Agent Workspace - Scheduling

Upload Additional Documents

This link allows you to upload documents and identify them as: preliminary closing, trailing or additional borrower-signed closing documents. The documents will also appear under the "Uploaded documents" section in your workspace.


Share Closing Package

This link allows you to share a closing package with additional: settlement agent's, attorneys, and notaries. The additional contacts will also display in the "Contacts" tab under the "Other Contacts" section.

Documents

The Documents section will bucket documents based on: lender ink-signed closing documents, Lender eSign closing documents, and promissory note (where applicable).

Uploaded Documents

This section will include all documents that have been uploaded, including the title document, and any additionally added documents by the settlement agent.

Contacts

The contacts tab will include all entities to the closing as well as any that were added from the Share Closing Package section of the Overview tab.
