If a text message is sent, it will be displayed on the screen.

If a file is shared, the file will start downloading.

Best practices for using SendSafe

Senders should share the download link and passphrase using different communication channels. For example, send the download link in an email and send the passphrase through text message, phone call, Slack, Teams, or other messaging systems. This reduces the risk of files being accessed by unintended recipients.
