Date Available: Available in beta and production on September 24, 2024

Which customers are impacted?: Customers using Blend’s Reporting Dashboard in the Lending platform.

Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.

How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:
The Borrowers report will now include data around SMS consent and a timestamp for when the borrower user was created. The PAB Activities report will now include an activity for Adverse Action, as well as additional detail around credit pull status (for example, if credit was skipped).

Current Behavior:
The Borrowers report is an existing report/endpoint that is one row per borrower per application, with attributes around the borrower and milestones.

The PAB Activities report is an existing report/endpoint that is one row per Loan Officer Toolkit activity (or “LOTK”, formerly PAB), including things like credit pulls and AUS runs.

New Behavior:
The following fields will be added to the Borrower User report, and /reporting/borrowers endpoint in v9.

  • createdDatetime - Timestamp for when the borrower user was created. This will also be added as a request field in the API and as a timestamp event to pull in the Reporting Dashboard.
  • smsConsentStatus - The current status for borrower SMS consent, e.g. accepted, declined, pending.
  • smsConsentDatetime - A timestamp in UTC or when the borrower’s SMS consent status was last updated.

The following updates will be made to the PAB Activities report, and the /reporting/lender-pab-activities endpoint in v9.

  • adverseActionStatus - The adverseActionStatus field will contain additional detail around AAN status (e.g. skipped, success, failure, etc). Currently AAN is not an activity included in this report, so you will now see a record for “adverse action check” in the activityType field.
  • creditPullStatus - Field for additional detail around credit (e.g. if credit was skipped).

This release will go to both beta and prod on September 24, 2024. Note that testing changes are NOT required, as you will not experience any change in the functionality of the Reporting Dashboard; only the number of columns returned when pulling this report will change. Additionally these fields will only be available in v9 of the Reporting API.
