As part of the Blend - Encompass integration, some fields in Encompass will be locked if there is a value present in Blend before the loan is exported to Encompass. The fields that will be locked are:
Proposed Other Mortgages Amount
Proposed Mortgage Insurance Amount
Title Will Be Full Name
First Mortgage P&I
Real Estate Tax Amount
Lien UPB Balance Amount
These specific Encompass fields are locked because they are typically calculated automatically based on other data within Encompass. Due to technical limitations - which vary by field - the Blend integration cannot directly set these calculated values and ensure accurate automatic recalculation within Encompass. Therefore, to prevent discrepancies between Blend and Encompass, these fields are locked upon initial data transfer from Blend. Users can manually override these locked values in Encompass if necessary.
