Why does eConsent show as given if the borrower has not activated their account?

Modified on Mon, Apr 21 at 12:15 PM

Borrower’s email is changed

Changing a borrower’s email address will require the borrower to activate their account using the new email. However, the eConsent status will remain unless the borrower is removed from the application in Blend.

Shared application

The primary borrower can give eConsent on behalf of the co-borrower on shared applications as long as they answer Yes to the following questions during the Getting Started section:

  • We'll need to collect personal, income, and asset information about John Homeowner. We'll also need certain consents from John to process this application.
Do you have access and authorization to provide this information and consent on behalf of [Cob-orrower]?
  • Do you and [Co-borrower] agree to share personal and financial information with each other?

At the end of the Getting to Know You section, the primary borrower will be prompted to confirm that they have read and agree to eConsent on behalf of the co-borrower.
