Configuring Ensighten Manage in Blend

Modified on Mon, Apr 14 at 7:17 PM

Blend administrators with access to the Setup Panel can update Ensighten tags and events. Blend allows Ensighten tags to load within the Blend environment so that events are passed to Ensighten Manage for reporting purposes.

Setting up Ensighten Manage in your Blend environment

Data elements make up your data dictionary within Ensighten Manage. The dictionary serves as the data source for building out rules and as a library for additional tracking or analytics solutions (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc).

Blend provides a predetermined set of user-defined data elements that must be configured within Ensighten Manage.

  1. From your Manage Dashboard, select Tags
  2. Select Add Tag
  3. Under Apps > Choose Category, locate and select the type of tag (Analytics, Custom, etc)
  4. Provide an applicable Tag Name E.g., Blend – Application Started and Label as necessary
  5. Specify the applicable Space from the dropdown menu
  6. Select from amongst the option(s) under ‘Choose one or more conditions’.
    1. Some Pages: this option is used to leverage a Data element value to conditionally fire the tag
    2. Events: this option is used to leverage a specific Event to conditionally fire the tag
  7. After specifying the Condition and/or Event, click Done and then Continue
  8. Select Save & Commit. All Tag(s) must be committed before publishing. If errors are identified, an error message will appear during the Commit process. Upon successfully committing a tag, you will receive an acknowledgment

Tag Configuration

The following is a list of configurations for a standard Blend application. Applications such as those created on Bend Builder generate unique application flow, which may require additional consultation with Blend to determine workflow_event values.
