Which customers are impacted?: Customers using Blend to originate mortgage applications. This solution builds on existing functionality of the Loan Officer (LO) Pages feature, so customers must already be using this in their environments or be willing to enable it before Referral Partners can be configured.
Required?: No, opt-in.
How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
Streamline your referral process and empower your partners with Blend's Referral Partners with Co-Branding feature. This innovative solution provides your partners with a dedicated partner profile and a unique, co-branded URL, allowing them to effortlessly send borrowers your way.
When a borrower clicks on the co-branded link, both the partner's and the loan officer's information are prominently displayed. For real estate agents, their information is pre-filled on the application, significantly speeding up the process for the borrower and ensuring the partner remains automatically connected. Additionally, the partner profile will be visible with the loan officer’s information in the Borrower Home. This seamless and cohesive experience is designed to help you cultivate stronger relationships and close more loans.
Current Behavior:
Currently, Blend can support tracking referrals through URL parameters; no other similar functionality exists that connects partners to loan officers in Blend.
New Behavior:
If enabled, customers can configure referral partners using configurations available to them in their environment(s). Review this Help Center article for a detailed walkthrough of how to use this feature. If you cannot access our Help Center, please contact support@blend.com or your Blend Customer Success Manager.
