Purpose of Update and Benefit: Today, not all email communication templates are customizable. Blend is working to migrate all emails to allow lenders to customize and with this release, borrower and settlement agent emails related to close offer the ability for lenders to make changes. The customization to email templates include:
Subject line
Minor changes to the email body text
Toggle email templates on or off
New Behavior: All email templates sent to borrowers and settlement agents pertaining to close can now be customized. As noted above, lenders have the opportunity to request changes to email subject lines and some minor changes to the body of the email such as removing or adding loan information.
To request changes to closing email templates for borrowers or settlement agents, please reach out to support@blend.com and the support team will be able to facilitate making any requested changes.
Please note, closing emails do not include opt out functionality or other features to comply with the CAN-SPAM Act. As such, these emails may only be used for transactional purposes to communicate details of closing.
