Note: This announcement only impacts lenders who run Loan Product Advisor (LPA) and refresh assets in Blend, and then re-run it in their LOS. If you only use Desktop Underwriter, or do not re-run LPA in your LOS, you can disregard this announcement.
Recently it was brought to our attention that lenders who run LPA and refresh assets in Blend, and then re-run LPA in the LOS will receive a "Report Not Found" error message. The reason behind the issue is that refreshing assets causes the RefID to change, and the updated RefID is not automatically sent to the LOS after the assets are refreshed in Blend. Freddie Mac has advised these loans may not qualify for rep/warrant relief due to this issue.
Our Product team is aware and is currently working on addressing this issue. In the meantime, loan teams who encounter this issue will need to manually copy and paste the RefID from Blend into the LOS before they re-run LPA in the LOS. In order to assist lenders in catching these cases, Blend has an opt-in setting called “Send lender notification email on refID change” that can be enabled now and will alert lenders if the RefID has been updated.
Please contact Blend Support if you would like to enable this setting in your environment.
