Date Available: Beta 3/26, Prod 4/23
Which customers are impacted?: Any customer using the admin portal with an applicant or lender-facing portal.
How to turn on:
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
Many clients undergo maintenance during off-hours which can create unexpected behaviors for borrowers, loan officers and anyone else who may login to the Blend portal during those times. Providing a mechanism for admins to set and/or scheduling message banners helps ease this confusion for all Blend users.
Current Behavior:
When a tenant admin would like to have a banner displayed on their website, they would reach out to Blend support requesting a banner to be displayed. The tenant admin would provide the content of the message, when to turn the banner on and when to turn the banner off.
New Behavior:
Tenant admins can now manage their own messaging and timing of these notification banners from the Setup area of the application.
From the Setup section of the tenant’s environment, the tenant admin can access the editing capabilities for the support banners.
From the support banners section, the tenant admin will be able to add in the desired start and end dates and times (if any). Please note that this is optional and not required, the user tenant can skip the time section and still upload a support banner.
Once the user tenant has uploaded the support banner from the “Lender support messaging” setup section, the support banner message should appear when internal users log into their tenant environment.
Lender View
Once the tenant admin has uploaded the desired support banner message from the “Borrower support messaging” from their tenant environment, the support banner message should appear when internal users log into their account homepage.
