5/10 Beta, 6/7 Prod
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
This new functionality will prevent loan teams from being able to click the “Pull Fees” button in the Details of Transaction page until all required fields have been answered within the loan application. This will allow loan teams to see a dynamic list of any required fields missing in order to request a fee quote from any of our integrated providers (ClosingCorp, Ernst, or LodeStar) and help avoid confusion with submitting fee quote requests that fail due to missing data.
Current Behavior:
Currently, loan teams can click on the Pull Fees button within the Details of Transactions page. If any of the required fields are missing, an error message will appear showing a list of fields that require inputs in order for fees to be pulled. This is the only way that loan teams are alerted to missing information.
New Behavior:
When this feature is enabled, loan teams will be able to see and address missing fields before attempting to pull fees. The Pull Fees button will be disabled when the application is missing any of the following fields:
Loan amount
Mortgage type
Amortization type
Property type
Intended use
Number of units
Property address state
Property address county
These fields were already required fields in order to pull fees. This new feature simply alerts users to the missing fields proactively and prevents the ability to pull fees when these inputs are missing. When loan teams hover over the button while it’s in the disabled state, they will see a list of the required fields.
