We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Date Available: Available Now, opt-in.
Which customers are impacted? Any customer that uses Blend to structure liabilities for mortgage loans in the lender application.
How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, reach out to Blend Support.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
With this release, the credit account number for any liability that is auto-populated from the credit report will automatically appear next to the liability in the Monthly Debt page.
Additionally, any account that is manually added by the loan team will require an account number before it can be added. This will allow loan teams to differentiate between different liabilities that are being accounted for in the Monthly Debt page.
Current Behavior:
Currently, Blend does not show credit account numbers on the Monthly Debt page.
New Behavior:
If enabled, auto-populated liabilities from the credit report will show the account number in the Monthly Debt page UI. If a loan team member needs to manually add a liability, they will also be able to add an account number associated with the liability.
