Which customers are impacted?
Any customer using Blend for mortgage loans can enable Fee Management in their environments. There are a few different fee data sources that Blend can integrate with in order to pull fees which may require lenders to have accounts with a third-party provider. See the “Fee data sources” section of the product guide for more
information. Any customer that wants to enable a data source that comes from a third party will need to establish an account with them prior to enabling fees in their environment(s).
How to turn on
This will not automatically be turned on for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. Please contact your Account Partner to discuss enabling this feature in your environment(s).
Purpose of Update and Benefit
Blend’s Fee Management solution provides lenders with the ability to centrally manage all fees with a dedicated page for loan teams to manage and structure the fees that should be included as part of the estimated closing costs and total cash to close considered in the loan qualification process. Fee Management can be configured for any customer using Blend for mortgage loans.
New Behavior
Expected flows and additional details for our Fee Management solution can be found in our product guide. If you cannot access the guide using this Google Drive link, please contact Blend Support or your Blend representative.
