Ability to add the company address to the signature block for Pre-Approval Letters (PALs)

How to turn on

This feature will automatically be turned on for all customers on the dates listed above.

Which customers are impacted?

This will only affect lenders using pre-approval letters in Blend, and will only appear if their Blend environment is configured to only use the organization contact information in pre-approval letter signatures

Purpose of Update and Benefit

This feature will allow the inclusion of a lender’s company address in the signature block of the pre-approval letter. The address will be pulled from whatever is entered in the Address section of the Organization settings. Adding an address to the signature block is mandatory for the pre-approval letter formats for the state of Texas, however given that many customers have requested the ability to add company addresses to the signature block, we will be rolling this out to all customers for all templates.

Current Behavior

Blend does not show the lender’s address in the existing PAL template.

New Behavior

When enabled, the address that’s entered in the Organization section of the Setup menu will appear within the signature block of a pre-approval letter. The address will be on one line.

If the Address field in the Organization section of the Setup menu is blank, this line will not appear in the signature block.

If the “Enable organization contact information only in signature” configuration is enabled in this environment, then that setting will take priority and only the organization’s information will appear.
