Additional application for an existing borrower (borrower experience)

Borrowers can start up to 10 applications in Blend, across loan products, without needing their loan officer/banker to start the application for them. This functionality is available for borrowers entering through any path: SSO, Apply Now links. LO-specific invite links.

Apply Now link with loan type specified: will take the borrower to an existing application of that loan type, if it already exists. Otherwise, it will create a new application for the borrower.
Apply Now link with no loan type specified: if the customer has multiple loan types enabled, it will take the borrower to a loan chooser screen.

Note: Sharing information across different applications is not supported at the moment.

Create a new application while logged in to an existing application

1. Clicking on New Application will take the borrower to a loan chooser screen.

2. Start a new application will ask the borrower to choose from available loan products.

Note: This screen will only show loan products enabled in Blend for that customer.

Borrower with multiple accounts

Borrower with multiple applications will see an option to Switch Application instead.

Switch Application will take the borrower to the following chooser screen.
