We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Date Available: Beta 10/23, Prod 10/23
Which customers are impacted?: Lenders using Custom Pipeline Views who opt-in.
Required?: No, opt-in.
How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.
Purpose of Update and Benefit: With Custom Pipeline Views enabled, starting a new application could require two separate windows: one to select an Application Type and another to enter the application details. For lenders offering only Blend’s standard Mortgage and Home Equity application types, the selection window adds an unnecessary step. This update simplifies the process by allowing these lenders to start a new application directly from the New Loan Application window.
Current Behavior: With Custom Pipeline Views enabled, selecting “+ New Application” opens two windows in sequence: first, a window to select the Application Type, followed by a window to enter the application details.
New Behavior: The Application Type selection window is automatically skipped when a lender has no Configurable Platform products available. Lenders offering only standard loan types are taken directly to the New Loan Application window, creating a simpler, more efficient application experience.
