Update to Previously Announced Release

This is an update to a previously announced release where rollout began in April 2026 and was paused on May 13, 2026. The issues that caused the pause have been resolved, and Blend has made additional improvements since then (see “Improvements Since April” below). The rollout is now resuming.

Date Available

If Custom Pipeline View is already enabled in your beta environment: it will be enabled in your production environment on November 3, 2026.

If it is not yet enabled in your beta environment: it will be enabled in your beta environment on October 27, 2026, and in your production environment on November 24, 2026. We recommend noting your current saved filters before your beta date.

Which customers are impacted?: All lenders are impacted.

Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.

How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above.

Purpose of Update and Benefit: Custom Pipeline Views are now generally available to all customers with access to the Lender UI. Previously available as an opt-in capability, this feature allows lenders to create and save custom pipeline views to organize their work around the information that matters most to them. Blend is making this the standard pipeline experience across the platform, so all lenders work from a single, consistent pipeline.

This release also improves pipeline search, expanding the loan details included in search results so lenders can find the loans they’re looking for more easily.

Current Behavior: The pipeline uses two fixed tabs: All and Archived. Pipeline search is limited to a subset of loan details.

New Behavior: The pipeline now uses a dropdown selector in place of the existing tabs. From this dropdown, lenders can access the All and Archived views, as well as create and manage custom pipeline views.

The “+ New Loan” button is now labeled “+ New Application”. Starting a new application requires two separate windows: one to select an Application Type and another to enter the application details.

Creating and managing custom views requires the “Edit client-facing system config” permission. Your organization’s administrator can grant this permission to the appropriate roles.

Additional improvements include:

  • Expanded search: Pipeline search now covers a broader range of loan details, helping lenders find loans more easily.

  • Preserved saved preferences: Each lender’s saved filters, columns, sort order, and views are migrated to the new Pipeline View before the transition. Existing settings are preserved, and lenders who have already customized the new Pipeline View retain their current settings.

  • Additional filters: Four previously unavailable filters are now supported: IDV aggregate decision, Loan Sub-Category, Closing Date Task, and Closing eNote Package.

  • SSN search: For organizations with SSN search enabled, lenders can also search the pipeline by borrower SSN.

Improvements Since April: Following a temporary pause in the rollout on May 13, 2026, Blend resolved an issue affecting the Loan Originator and Loan Assignee filter suggestions and resumed the rollout for lenders who approved the change.

Additional improvements include:

  • Migrating saved filters and views to preserve existing preferences

  • Adding the four previously unavailable filters

  • Correcting the Loan Originator and Loan Assignee filter suggestions

  • Resolving friction in the New Application modal

  • Adding verification steps before and after enabling the new pipeline for each client

Known Limitations: As part of the transition to the new Custom Pipeline View, Blend will migrate your saved filters, columns, and sort order wherever an equivalent setting is available. To help ensure a smooth transition, we recommend noting your current saved filters before enablement.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • Date filters: Filters set to specific calendar dates will be converted to relative-date filters.

  • Assignee filters: Filters based on assignee names will carry over. Filters based on assignee user IDs and selections for “Unassigned” will not carry over.

  • Disabled filters: Filters that are currently switched off will not carry over.

  • Columns: Columns for fields that are not available in the new Custom Pipeline View will not be carried over.
