You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Date Available: Beta 6/5, Prod 6/5
Which customers are impacted?: Lenders using Truework credentials-based VOI and opt-in
Required?: No, opt-in.
How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.
Purpose of Update and Benefit: This update gives lenders the ability to suppress raw W-2s and paystubs returned by Truework credentials-based VOI from appearing in the Docs tab. For lenders using rep-and-warrant programs such as D1C or AIM, this helps protect eligibility by preventing underwriters from being required to review documents that are not needed for the loan decision. The VOI report is unaffected.
Current Behavior: When a borrower completes a Truework credentials-based login VOI, Blend automatically ingests the raw supporting documents (typically the two most recent paystubs and up to several years of W-2s) into the Docs tab alongside the VOI report, with no lender-level ability to suppress them. For lenders using D1C or AIM rep-and-warrant programs, this requires underwriters to review these documents even when the VOI report findings alone would satisfy agency requirements.
New Behavior: Lenders can now configure whether raw W-2s and paystubs from Truework credentials-based VOI responses are surfaced in the Docs tab. When suppression is enabled, these documents are not added to the Docs tab. The VOI report is unaffected.
