Date Available: Available in beta and production estimated mid August, 2025
Which customers are impacted?: Customers using Blend’s Reporting API or Reporting Dashboard
Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.
How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above. Lender users that have Reporting access may need to log out and log back in to download reports using the latest version.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
We will be adding new fields to existing endpoints in the Reporting Dashboard and Reporting API V11.
New Behavior:
The Application List Report and /reporting/loans endpoint in the API V11 will have two new fields
affordabilityOutcome
Data type: string
Definition: This field indicates the affordability outcome for applicants who encountered the purchase affordability workflow (HIGH_DTI, VALID, LOW_AFFORDABILITY, and LOW_CREDIT). If an applicant started the workflow but did not complete and receive an outcome, the value will return DID_NOT_RECEIVE_OUTCOME. This will be NULL for applicants who did not encounter the purchase affordability workflow. Additional values include
propertySearchType
Data type: string
Definition: This field is set for what the borrower selects at the beginning of their application for where the borrower is at in their process (FOUND, NOT_IN_CONTRACT, NOT_STARTED, STILL_LOOKING)
This release will be available in both beta and production environments in mid August 2025
Note that testing changes are NOT required, as you will not experience any change in the functionality of the Reporting Dashboard; only the number of columns returned when pulling this report will change. Additionally these fields will only be available in v11 of the Reporting API.
