(New) Kubernetes Version Upgrade
Description:
The Infrastructure team is performing maintenance on beta & prod Kubernetes clusters to upgrade the Kubernetes version to 1.23 to comply with AWS EKS's deprecation notice for 1.22.
Will this impact the borrower app?
No impact expected.
Will this impact the lender app?
No impact expected.
Affected Period:
OneSpan maintenance and downtime
Description: OneSpan has a scheduled maintenance of up to 3 hours on 5/21/2023 starting 12:00 AM EST that will affect tenants that are configured to use OneSpan as their eSign provider.
What services or products are affected?
Documents service is affected on outgoing calls to OneSpan which will include being able to create new eSign envelopes as well as access existing eSign envelopes.
Will this impact the borrower app?
Yes. Borrowers with outstanding packages and disclosures involving eSignable documents in OneSpan will fail to load and they will be unable to review/sign/complete them during this downtime.
Will this impact the lender app?
Yes. Lenders issuing disclosures (that include eSignable documents) for tenants that are configured to use OneSpan by default will fallback and be created in DocuSign instead.

Kubernetes Spot Instance Maintenance
Description
Blend will be conducting maintenance on our Kubernetes clusters to replace a number of nodes with Spot instances.
What products or services will be affected during the maintenance window (platforms, applications, integrations, n/a, etc.): No expected disruption to services. The maintenance will only impact our Kubernetes infrastructure and will only be conducted on beta environments during the window listed below.
Will this impact the borrower and lender experience?
No.

Beta: May 30, 11:59pm - 2am (Tuesday night - Wednesday morning, Pacific time zone)
Kubernetes Instance Type Upgrade
Description:
Blend will be conducting maintenance on our Kubernetes clusters to upgrade our ec2 instances to the latest generation machine types.
What products or services will be affected during the maintenance window (platforms, applications, integrations, n/a, etc.):
No expected disruption to services. The maintenance will only impact our Kubernetes infrastructure and will only be conducted on prod environments during the window listed below.

No
Will this impact the lender experience?
No
