Blend Release Notes - 2022/08/05

For this release, we anticipate the following introductions in your environments. Each entry below is linked to their specific update containing more information. Major features are documented in the Blend Knowledge Base accessible at Blend Help Center. 

Maintenance Announcement

Rescheduled: Blend services database maintenance

The scheduled maintenance for our email and SMS features, which was initially scheduled to occur on August 2nd, has been rescheduled. This maintenance will now occur on August 16 for beta environments, and August 19 for production. 

Blend will be updating database services to apply standard security updates. This will impact borrowers' ability to receive email as well as lenders’ ability to send them. Emails sent during this time will need to be resent after the maintenance is complete. Because this will impact automated notification emails for disclosures issued during the affected period, we suggest not issuing disclosures during the affected period or alerting borrowers to their disclosures through another method.

• Expected downtime: 2 hours maximum

• Services: Email and SMS notifications

  • Note: While this maintenance covers the database for SMS & email, only emails will be impacted since we prevent SMS messages from being sent during these hours.

Affected Period:

• Beta: 2 hours maximum, August 16, 12AM-2AM PDT

• Prod: 2 hours maximum, August 19, 12AM-2AM PDT
