Which customers are impacted?
Customers who have all three of the following enabled in their environments:
The optional “Show Review Items Paragraph” Pre-Approval Letter configuration is enabled
All other customers will not see any changes to their environments.
How to turn on
For customers who already have Blend Income and Pre-Approval Letter enabled in Blend, the feature is already enabled and you do not need to do anything further. For customers who do not use one or both of those products, contact Blend Support or your Blend representative in order to enable these.
Purpose of Update and Benefit
In Blend, there is an optional configuration for Pre-Approval Letters called “Show Review Items Paragraph.” The purpose of that feature is to show on the Pre-Approval Letter that verification for Income, Assets, and Credit was completed for this loan. Previously, the Income checkmark would not appear if the borrower’s income was verified through Blend Income. We have addressed this gap so that going forward, the Income checkmark will appear if the borrower’s income is verified through Blend Income or The Work Number (TWN) Pre-fill.
As a note to those who will test this, the Review Items Paragraph will not appear unless two of the three verifications are completed for the borrower on a loan. That is existing and expected behavior.
Current Behavior
The Income checkmark would only be checked if the borrower’s income was verified through The Work Number Pre-fill.
New Behavior
The Income checkmark will appear if the borrower’s income is verified through Blend Income or TWN Pre-fill (assuming at least two of the three total verifications are completed for this borrower).
