Docutech Integrations Auth Migration
Description: We are migrating the Auth provider for our Docutech integrations. This will cause an interruption to the service while we work in conjunction with Docutech to switch to the new provider.
Will there be downtime associated with this maintenance? Yes
What services or products are affected?
Disclosures and Closing orders, documents, and status updates from Docutech to Blend.
How will this impact the borrower app?
Borrowers may still complete existing disclosures and closing signings but may see that their task does not clear after they have completed. The result is they will still be able to click on the link to sign where they will then be told the signing is already completed. We anticipate once we are done with the maintenance that we will receive the backlog of failed messages from Docutech and statuses will be updated to reflect their correct state.
How will this impact the lender app? No impact.
What are the affected periods for beta?
Tuesday July 18th, 3PM-5PM PT
What are the affected periods for prod environments?
July 24th 11:00pm - July 25th 1am PT
Connectivity Database Maintenance
Description: The database for the connectivity services will undergo a reboot to enable a feature called AWS Aurora Query Plan Management. This feature is going to help us better control the query execution behavior in our database and also with investigating query regressions going forward.
Will there be downtime associated with this maintenance? Yes
What services or products are affected?
Assets Connectivity, Credit services, Income Verification through Equifax's TWN, Netpay
How will this impact the borrower app?
Borrowers will not be able to connect assets to their apps. However, it will not block borrowers from adding assets manually or any other tasks. Borrowers will also be able to submit applications successfully.
How will this impact the lender app?
Lenders will not be able to pull credits, refresh connected assets, or verify income through Equifax's TWN product.
What are the affected periods for beta?
July 17th 2023, Monday 12:00 am - 12:15 am PST
What are the affected periods for prod environments?
July 24th 2023, Monday 12:00 am - 12:15 am PST
OneSpan Monthly Downtime
Description: One of Blend's eSign vendors, OneSpan, just announced recurring downtime for maintenance windows. These downtimes will result in periods where users will not be able to interact with their service to issue or sign eSign envelopes.
Will this impact the borrower app?
Yes. Users will be unable to eSign some documents during the outage. Some disclosures and closings will not be sendable.
Will this impact the lender app?
