Date Available: Beta 10/18, Prod 10/18

Which customers are impacted?: All customers using SSO in Blend.

Required?: No, opt-in.

How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:
For customers who land on the Blend login or sign up page, the distinctions between the login paths and buttons are not very clear. The “Continue with your Account” button typically redirects customers to the SSO login path. However, this may be difficult for customers to determine which path to proceed with because the existing labels do not provide a lot of context.

With this update, tenants can configure their SSO login path button so that the text more clearly redirects users to the appropriate login path. This is specific to the applicant side SSO login and not the lender / banker side SSO.

Current Behavior:

The SSO login button is the second button as seen in the screenshot above. The default text for the SSO login button is “Continue with your Account”. Prior to this update, the text in the button was not configurable.

New Behavior:

The SSO login button is now available to be configured. In this example, the button was updated to “Already a member? Log In”.

SSO log-in method needs to be enabled in order for this button to be configured. If no action is taken, the default text will remain as “Continue with your Account”. This is an opt-in feature so changing the text is entirely optional.
