Which customers are impacted?: All customers who use the Blend lender application or home equity on lending and opt-in to use the borrowers preferences feature.
Required?: No, opt-in.
How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
This release, in addition to the borrower closing preferences release, will allow the borrower's preferred closing method to be displayed in the lender workspace.
Current Behavior:
Currently, displaying borrowers' preferred closing method does not exist.
New Behavior:
Now available, lenders will be able to view the borrower's preferred closing method in the lender workspace under the “Disclosures & Closing” tab.
