Date Available: Beta 6/23, Prod 7/21
Which customers are impacted?: All mortgage lenders
Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.
How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above.
Purpose of Update and Benefit: To improve consistency across loan purposes, the property value field on refinance loans is being renamed from "Appraisal Value" to "Estimated Property Value." This aligns the field label with the terminology already used on purchase loans, creating a more consistent experience for lenders.
Current Behavior: On refinance loans, the property value field is labeled "Appraisal Value". On purchase loans, the equivalent field is labeled "Estimated Property Value".
New Behavior: On refinance loans, the property value field will now be labeled "Estimated Property Value," matching the label used on purchase loans.
This is a display-only change. The field maps to the same underlying TRID data element, and no data mapping, workflow behavior, or downstream behavior is affected.
