Which customers are impacted?: Customers using Xactus as a credit provider in Blend, and who run AUS (specifically, LPA).
Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.
How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
This update will resolve issues that customers who are using the Xactus credit provider have been experiencing when submitting the loan file to LPA after running soft credit. Xactus has two different integrations - one with Equifax (EMS) and one with SharperLending. LPA has two separate codes for each of these integrations. Blend currently supports Xactus through the Equifax integration, however when pulling soft credit on the loan, Xactus requires that the SharperLending integration is used. Running LPA on a loan where soft credit was pulled through Xactus could therefore result in errors in the LPA output file.
With this update, Blend will now pass the SharperLending TA Code for Xactus when LPA is run in Blend. This will ensure that LPA can be run successfully with Xactus soft credit pulls in Blend.
Current Behavior:
Blend does not pass the SharperLending TA Code for Xactus in the LPA file. This results in errors when running LPA.
New Behavior:
Blend will pass the SharperLending TA Code for Xactus in the LPA file, which should prevent credit-related errors when running LPA for loans with soft credit pulls.
