Which customers are impacted?: Customers who issue PALs from their Blend environment(s).

How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
Blend will now issue a BONS event for PALs created in Blend. This will allow lenders and/or external integrators to make an API call to Blend and receive information about PAL creation.
Current Behavior:
Currently, event notifications are not fired for Pre-Approval Letters.
New Behavior:
Event notifications will be fired for Pre-Approval Letters in the following cases:
For PALs that are generated from the lender application: The event notification date/time will reflect the date/time, in UTC, that the PAL is sent to the borrower(s).
For PALs that are generated from the borrower application: The event notification date/time will reflect the date/time, in UTC, that the borrower downloads the Pre-Approval Letter.
