We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.

(New) Updated text for Blend Income reverification button in lender application
Customers using Blend Income and who re-verify income within Blend will see that the “Re-verify Income” button has been renamed to “Re-verify Income and Employment.” Clicking the “Re-verify Income” button has always reverified both income and employment, so we are updating the button text copy to make the functionality clearer for the user.
This text only appears in the Income Verification Results screen in the lender-side Blend application, and only in applications where an initial verification of income (VOI) was attempted on the loan through Blend Income. This change is currently visible in customer beta and production environments.
(New) New passwords will be required to be at least 12 characters
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
In order to support PCI compliance updates, we have updated the minimum length of passwords created in Blend from 8 (old) to 12 (new) characters.
Current Behavior:
When a user creates a new password in Blend, either as a new user or as an existing user resetting or changing their password, the minimum length of the password is 8 characters.
New Behavior:
Available now, when a user creates a new password in Blend, either as a new user or as an existing user resetting or changing their password, the minimum length of the password is 12 characters.
Note: For existing users not resetting or changing their password, no additional steps are needed and passwords are fine as is.
