Update 9/22:
This feature was announced in Release Notes earlier this year, but was put on hold. We are now re-commencing the rollout of this feature for all customers per the schedule outlined below.
Date Available: Beta 9/26, Prod 10/24
Which customers are impacted?: Only external integrations may be affected.
How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled for all customers on the dates listed above.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
The applicationExported BONS event is meant to signify when an LOS record is created, and the unique identifier is written back to Blend. This update will clarify that functionality to ensure that the event is only fired when a net new LOS Primary key is written back to Blend, where previously, the event would fire duplicate events if the same LOS Primary key was written back to the Blend application multiple times.
Current Behavior:
Currently, if an LOS integration writes the same LOS primary key back to a Blend application multiple times, each write will result in an event being fired.
New Behavior:
With the new functionality, the applicationExported event will only fire when a new LOS primary key is written to a Blend application.
