Date Available: Beta 08/16, Prod 08/30
How to turn on:
This feature will automatically be turned on for all customers using the Empower LOS on the dates listed above.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
When a loan is exported from Blend and an Empower loan is created, the new Empower reference number is only written to Blend's 'LOSID' field. With the change, the Empower reference number will also be patched to Blend's 'Reference Number' field so that it appears in the borrower and lender application pages, as well as the lender pipeline. This change will also be reflected in the MISMO file and public API.
This feature is not retroactive. Loans that were previously exported to Empower will maintain separate IDs in Blend and Empower.
Current Behavior:
Prior to release, the Blend Reference Number does not change and continues to be visible in the lender pipeline.
New Behavior:
Once enabled, the Empower reference number will replace the Blend reference number in the lender view application page, borrower home screen, and lender pipeline. In the MISMO file, the LoanIdentifier fields in the LENDER_CASE and LOS_PRIMARY_KEY sections will both reflect the Empower reference number.
In the public API, the referenceNumber field in the /home-lending/applications/{loanId} API will reflect the Empower reference number.
