Date Available: Available now, opt-in

Which customers are impacted?: Customers using Encompass NextGen integration and who opt in for this enhancement.

How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:
Encompass customers using the NextGen integration are now offered more configuration options for the loan template and loan folder chosen at time of export.

Customers will now be able to use any data points captured in the Blend MISMO to write rules defining which loan template should be used at time of export.

One common use case for this feature is to allow customers to create a specific loan template in Encompass for each different combination of mortgage types (FHA/VA/USDA/Conv) and Loan Types (Purchase/Refi/Construction). This is just one example; customers can create rules for loan folders and templates around any data that is exported in the MISMO file.

Current Behavior:
Currently, there is a limited set of pre-defined configurations for loan template and loan folder in Encompass NextGen. For example, a loan template can be defined for purchase loans and another loan template for refinance loans.

New Behavior:
If enabled, Encompass NextGen customers will have more flexibility to define loan templates and loan folders used at export.  Additionally, if pricing is run on a loan in Blend and the loan product is selected, it will be possible for Blend to apply a loan program template in Encompass if there is an exact match from the loan product returned from the pricing integration to the loan program template in Encompass.
