We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Which customers are impacted?: Available to customers using Close in Blend.
Required?: No, opt-in.
How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.
Purpose of Update and Benefit:
1-click download of signed eSign hybrid closing documents allows the lender users to easily access the signed eSign hybrid closing documents in Blend.
Current Behavior:
Currently if a lender user has to access the signed eSign hybrid closing document, they have to manually search for all documents that could have been part of the eSign hybrid closing package. This is tedious as well as error prone.
For example, in the screenshot below, the user will have to manually download each of the documents that will show the status as “Signature completed”.
New Behavior:
Once the eSign documents for a hybrid closing have been signed by all of the borrowers, the lender users will have access to this new feature under the disclosures and closing tab in the LO workspace (also known as LO toolkit).
There is a download option above the Closing document section on that tab. Upon clicking the Download option, users are presented with the option to download "Esign Documents (Signed)." This will download all the signed eSign Closing documents as one bundled PDF.
