How to turn on

This will not be automatically turned on for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. When this version is released, any API consumers can start to upgrade to v5.3.0 with the certainty that we will no longer make changes to this version.

Purpose of Update and Benefit

Version 5.3.0 of the Blend Public API will be released to General Availability on November 14, 2022. Changes in API v5.3.0 have been available to test in the experimental release of our public API since the GA of v5.2.0 in August 2022

As part of our standard API release cadence, v5.3.0 will not introduce any breaking changes, and will not introduce any changes to previous versions of the API. After the Generally Available release of v5.3.0, v6.0.0 will become the current Experimental version of the Blend Public API.

New Behavior

  • Added GET /close/ron/:applicationId/recordings/:fileId/download-url endpoint to get a download URL for recorded Remote Online Notary session associated with the application ID
  • Added GET /close/ron/:applicationId/recordings endpoint to get file IDs of recorded Remote Online Notary sessions for a specific application ID
  • Added document status field to the response of GET /home-lending/applications/:id/documents endpoint
  • Added language field to the PATCH /parties endpoint
  • Added endpoint that returns one row per application for all products built on Blend’s configurable platform GET /reporting/configurable-products-applications
  • Added document status field to the response of GET /documents endpoint
  • Added document status field to the response of POST /documents endpoint
  • Added document status field to the response of GET /documents/:id/metadata endpoint
