(Update) Salesforce Managed Package v5.14 Release

Update 1/31: Added clarification about this feature's availability and which customers would be impacted.

Date Available: Opt-in. Customers can enable in beta after 1/30, prod after 2/27

Which customers are impacted?: This release is optional and available for customers who will opt to upgrade packages with Salesforce integration.

How to turn on:

• This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:

We have a new salesforce managed package version available-v5.14. The data mapping UI will be updated for both Home Lending and Config Platform (Inbound and Outbound Mapping) to support the selection of a Picklist field to use as the Mapping Type Source. Picklist field values can be mapped 1:1 or many:1 with Blend products in place of record types. There is also added construction loan purpose mapping.

Current Behavior:

Only record type options are available for config products and only Purchase/Refinance loan purposes for Mortgage. 

New Behavior:

Customers with Salesforce upgrading to v5.14 can send Construction loan purpose applications to Blend and have picklist functionality.
