Date Available: Beta 9/24, Prod 10/22

Which customers are impacted?: Customers using Optimal Blue as their integrated pricing engine in Blend for mortgage applications.

Required?: Yes, this is a required release. Required releases are features that Blend wants to standardize in the codebase, and typically do not require additional configuration.

How to turn on: This feature will be automatically enabled on the dates listed above.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:
When processing a loan for a Manufactured Home, lender users will enter this data in two fields in the Subject property information section of the lender application: Property type and Home Width Type.

The Search Pricing Engine screen for Optimal Blue only includes the Property Type field, and lender users need to indicate property type and width type in one field.

With this release, the Pricing Search Engine for Optimal Blue will now match the experience with the Subject property information section and split Property Type and Home Width Type into two fields for Manufactured Homes. If lender users have filled out these fields in the Subject property information section before accessing the pricing search screen then the selections will pre-populate, which eliminates the need for lender users to enter this information twice.

Current Behavior:
In the Search Pricing Engine screen for the Optimal Blue integration, lender users use the Property Type dropdown to indicate that the property is a Manufactured Home, and what the home width is (Single-Wide or Double-Wide).

New Behavior:
The Property Type dropdown menu will only have one Manufactured Home option.

If Manufactured Home is selected as the Property Type, a new field named Home Width Type will appear, and will allow lender users to specify Single-Wide or Multi-Wide. Home Width Type will be a required field if Manufactured Home is selected as the Property Type.

If lender users fill out these fields in the Subject property information section of the lender application prior to accessing the Search Pricing Engine page, the fields on the Search Pricing Engine will pre-populate with the selections made in the Subject property information section.
