Date Available: Available in beta and prod 10/22

Which customers are impacted?:
All Blend customers who use and allow their borrowers to navigate to the borrower home.

Required?: No, opt-in.

How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:
Customers can configure various elements of the application and LOS milestones shown in the borrower home view. This allows customers to tailor the language to better communicate milestone expectations and drive consistent messaging throughout the origination process.

Current Behavior:
Currently, there is no configurability of borrower home milestone names, descriptions or related content.

New Behavior:
Now available, customers can customize the language displayed in certain areas of the borrower home.

Please see the loan text fields below that are available for configuration in accordance with the tenants LOS milestones.

  1. Primary Label is shown in the screenshot above as “Getting Started.”
  2. Description is shown in the example above as “Please review xyz.”
  3. Title is shown above as “Welcome Back, Alice.
  4. Subtitle is shown above as “Please review the following items below.”
  5. Button Text is shown above as “Open tasks here.”

Reminder: Please note that each configurable copy section will vary depending on the tenants LOS integrations and milestones (Application, submit, post submit milestone, etc). The example screenshot provided above shows a test loan in the “Application” milestone.

In addition to the configurable copy for loan steps and LOS milestones, the custom copy settings section also allows text configurability. See below for the text field boxes in this section that can be modified:

  • Configurable copy for archived loans.
  • Configurable “Empty State Message” for when there are no open tasks.
