Purpose of Update and Benefit:
Blend will automatically populate homeowners insurance policy fields in Encompass to eliminate manual data entry when a policy is bound through Blend Insurance Agency. This will not automatically be turned on. Please contact Blend Support to request enabling this feature in your production environment. It will not be available for testing in your beta environment, given the workflow requires a policy to be bound and uploaded via Blend Insurance Agency.

New Behavior:

When an insurance policy is bound through Blend Insurance Agency, Blend will update a contact record in Encompass with the contact information for the Hazard Insurance Company. Additionally, the HOI premium will be updated on the escrow monthly amount screen. The list of fields that will be updated are Company Name, Address Line 1, Address City, Address State, Address ZIP, Policy Number, Monthly Premium. If data exists in these fields in Encompass when the policy is bound, it will be overwritten. If the loan is locked at the time of update, the update will not proceed. Encompass field mapping below:
