Summary

Announcements:

Updating Finicity’s Connect 1.0 to Connect 2.0

Finicity is deprecating the Connect 1.0 experience by the end of this month (June 2022). In order to avoid disruptions in service, Blend is proactively shifting all customers to the Finicity Connect 2.0 experience. By the end of this month, all customer environments will see the updated experience in the borrower application any time Finicity is used to connect accounts. 

Current experience: 

The Finicity Connect 1.0 experience did not include a consent screen, and prompted borrowers to log in.

After entering their credentials and choosing which account(s) to link, borrowers would see a summary of linked accounts in the Assets page.

New Experience: 

The Finicity Connect 2.0 experience will include the following changes: 

Addition of a consent screen that will appear prior to asking borrowers to log in

Updated UI for the login screen

Once the borrower logs in and chooses which account(s) to connect, the chosen account(s) will display on the summary screen in the Assets section. The UI for this summary has not changed from the Finicity Connect 1.0 experience.

Maintenance Announcements:

Blend database maintenance

• Blend will be upgrading our database to apply standard security updates. These changes will prevent applicants and enterprise users from accessing applications during the maintenance window. We expect 1 hour of downtime in which new service calls cannot be attempted during this time. This maintenance will only affect customers using Blend Builder.

• (New) Displaying appraisal waiver availability in the Lender Workspace - Available Now
