Which customers are impacted?: Any customer who has the LO Mobile application turned on and sends pre-approval letters through the mobile application. 

 

How to turn on: 

This will be automatically available on mobile if the features related to the pre-approval letter are turned on for desktop. Otherwise, if you’d like to turn on any of the pre-approval letter features, please email support@blend.com.

 

Purpose of Update and Benefit:

 

LO Mobile currently has the ability to generate and send a pre-approval letter in the mobile application. As of now, this new workflow release in mobile will closely match the full send pre-approval letter workflow that is available on desktop. 

 

Current Behavior:

 

Loan officers can generate and send a pre-approval letter in the mobile application to both borrowers and realtors, however, it is limited in workflow compared to the desktop functionality. 

 

New Behavior:

 

This new workflow release mirrors the full desktop pre-approval letter workflow, including changes that were made last year: 

 

  1. Ability to capture pre-approval contingent on sale of property 

  2. Ability to add a message to the borrower 

  3. Customizations made for Texas (assets, debt, income, cash to close checkboxes, manual address input)

  4. Workflow updates to support OneSpan migration (LOs can only send PALs to activated borrowers and realtors)
