We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.

(Update) Existing users will receive better feedback when attempting to sign up for a new Blend account
Update (12/18/23): This release is currently on hold until the New Year. An update will be provided in release notes once this feature relaunches.
When an applicant attempts to sign up for a new account prior to starting an application with an email that is already associated with a Blend user, the applicant will now be directed to "sign in" for clearer direction on how to proceed.
Previously, if an applicant attempted to sign up for a new account in the sign up or create an account page with an email that was already associated with a Blend user, the applicant would see an error "A user with this email already exists." This messaging didn't provide the applicant with clear next steps.
Now, if an applicant attempted to sign up for a new account in the sign up or create an account page with an email that was already associated with a Blend user, the applicant will see an error "A user with this email already exists. Please sign in to continue."
The "sign in" text will link the user to the sign in page where they can proceed to sign in with their existing email and Blend user account.
This is available now in customer production environments.
