Ability to configure the text on the left side of the Loan Chooser page

Which customers are impacted?: This new customization option is available to all Blend customers. 

Required?: No, opt-in.

How to turn on: This will not be automatically enabled for our customers. It will be available beginning on the dates listed above. If you’d like to take advantage of this functionality, please email support@blend.com with your desired header and subheader text.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:

Loan Chooser is the page that applicants can use to select the application type for which they would like to apply. Previously, the copy that appears on the left side of this page could not be customized. Now, customers may provide custom copy for a header and subheader to appear on this page. This will allow Blend customers to further customize the messaging that their current and potential customers will see before they create new applications.

To enable this feature, please reach out to Blend Support or your Blend representative with the desired header and subheader text. There are no word or character limits for either the header or subheader text. 

Current Behavior:

The copy on the left-hand side of the Loan Chooser page defaults to “What are you looking for?” and is not configurable. 

New Behavior:

The text that appears on the left side of the Loan Chooser page is now configurable. Customers may choose a header and subheader that users will see when selecting a new application type.
