Date Available: Beta 9/5, Prod 10/03

Which customers are impacted?:

Customers that use the Blend lender application.

How to turn on:

  • This feature will be automatically enabled for all customers on the dates listed above.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:

We have received customer feedback that the current joint REO experience on the lender app is difficult to use. This is because it is not clear how to indicate that an REO is jointly owned by two

borrowers. We have made some improvements to the user interface (UI) to address this issue, and we are now releasing these changes to customers.

Current Behavior:

Currently, there is only a checkbox where you can indicate that an REO is joint.

New Behavior:

Now available, the changes made are:

  • Moving the joint checkbox to the top from the bottom of the REO card

  • Add a grayed out card on the co-borrower column. This card cannot be edited and is only visual so that a user can more accurately see that an REO is now joint when they check the box.

  • Add an alert message when two REOs are added that have the same property address.

  • Stop automatically creating an REO when the present address is owned.
