Date Available: Beta 10/31, Prod 11/28

Which customers are impacted?: All customers issuing disclosures packages in Blend with TPR signatures.

How to turn on: This fix will be automatically enabled for all customers on the dates listed above.

Purpose of Update and Benefit:
This change will ensure that all Disclosures packages posted to Blend with TPR signature requests will validate the TPR information matches between Blend and the package.

Current Behavior:
Before the release, if there was only a single TPR in Blend, and a single TPR in the package, that TPR would always receive the TPR package signing, even if the TPR role/information didn't match between Blend & the posted package.

New Behavior:
With this release, Blend will always validate that the TPR type between the Blend loan and posted package matches, even in cases of single TPR in Blend and the package. This ensures that the TPR in Blend only receives their designated package signature requests. In the case where the package details don't match, the package will fail to issue, and users will be instructed to reconcile the data in their LOS & Blend.

Please note, there may be some unmonitored cases where disclosures were previously posted to loans with a single mismatching TPR, erroneously succeeding due to integrators creating workarounds for this behavior. This change will introduce (correct) behavior that will cause these workaround cases to fail. During the four weeks that this release will be available in lower environments, lenders are encouraged to test disclosures with a single TPR to ensure that the functionality is working as expected.
