Third Party Recipients (TPRs) are users who are added through the LOS and sent invitations to complete disclosures. These recipients can include Settlement Agents, non-borrowing spouses, non-borrowing owners, or any other third party. This article will outline the user experience for these TPR's and go over some frequently asked questions.
Initial Invitation/Activation to complete a disclosure:
1. The TPR will be added first through Encompass. TPR's are not added or removed from the Blend UI. This would be done under the File Contacts section:

2. The TPR will be sent an email invite if they are sent a disclosure to complete. The email will explain what action is being requested of them and from who:
3. When the user hits the link given inside of the email, they will be taken to the Blend login screen where they will prompted to insert their passcode.
The password will consist of the TPR's first and last name initials, followed by the subject property state abbreviation.

If a user get's locked out, the Lender user will need to go into the Third Party Recipients portal in the Blend Application and change the Access from "Locked" to "Available":
If a TPR forgets their password is there a way to reset it?
Unlike a borrower, TPR’s/NBO’s need to access Blend through a specific link in an email sent to them. Since they do not technically have a Blend account, they do not create their own passwords. Their passwords will be 4 characters: first name initial, last name initial, and state abbreviation.
Can the borrower and TPR share an email?
No, they cannot. The emails must be different.
Where can a user add the TPR in Encompass?
In Encompass under File Contacts.
What can I do if I see the TPR in Encompass and not in Blend?
Typically the best course of action would be to remove and re-add the TPR from Encompass.
Can I send a second invite for a TPR to complete the disclosures?
Second invites cannot be sent to TPR's. The workaround to this would be to re-trigger an email invite by removing them and re-adding them from Encompass.
