Customers can manage their own Loan Product Advisor (LPA) and Desktop Underwriter (DU) credentials within Blend. They can also manage their FHA and Netpay credentials, if applicable.

Note: Authorized users with the "Edit client-facing system config" permission will be the only users able to access the "Credentials" tab. Blend site admins at your institution can assign this permission to the users/roles as necessary. Click Assign permission to users/roles for more information.
Manage Credentials
1. Click Your settings on the Pipeline screen.
2. Click Setup.
3. Select the Credentials from the side menu.
4. Click Edit.
4. Enter necessary credentials.
5. Click Save.
Notes:
- The "Credentials" tab is only accessible to authorized users with the "Admin" permission.
- Blend customers will be responsible for adding/editing/deleting credentials, Blend will no longer accept these requests.

Only authorized users/roles with the "Edit system config" permission will be able to add/edit/delete user credentials.

You will find the FHA credential fields within the Desktop Underwriter section, but they are also applicable to Loan Product Advisor.
Assign permission to roles/users
Note: Permissions can be assigned to already created roles or you can create a new role for a specific permission as well. Once roles with assigned permissions are created, roles can be added to user profiles.
Create role to assign permission
1. Click Your settings on the Pipeline screen.
2. Click Setup.
3. Select Role Permissions.
4. Choose one of the following options:
a. Select a role from the dropdown menu.
b. Click Add New Role. Fill in the role name and click Create.
5. Select the Always radio button for Edit client-facing system config permission under the MODIFY section.
6. Click Save.
Assign role to users
1. Click Your settings on the Pipeline screen.
2. Click Setup.
3. Select Users.
4. Select the user you'd like to assign the role (permission) to.
5. Click Edit.
6. Add the role with the desired permission to the Roles section.
7. Click Update user.
Set up branch-level FHA Lender IDs - via Credentials
1. Click Your settings on the Pipeline screen.
2. Click Setup.
3. Select Credentials from the side menu.
4. Click Edit.
5. Scroll to the Desktop Underwriter section and check the box next to the Use branch-level FHA Lender IDs.
6. Click Save.
Set up branch-level FHA Lender IDs - via User Profile
1. Click Your settings on the Pipeline screen.
2. Click Setup.
3. Select Users.
4. Select the user you'd like to assign the role (permission) to.
5. Click Edit.
6. Enter information for the following FHA fields:
a. FHA Lender ID
b. FHA Sponsor ID
c. Sponsored Originator EIN
7. Click Update User.
Note: For branch-level FHA Lender ID configuration, we recommend keeping the Global FHA Lender ID configurations. This ensures that users who do not have a branch-level FHA Lender ID will still be able to run AUS in Blend using the global credentials.
