Blend offers a workflow to collect payment information for fees within Blend and securely pass the collected credit/debit card payment data through an external API that can be routed to your payment processor.
The solution leverages Blend’s Follow-up API to trigger the fee collection workflow and dynamically generate a fee collection Follow-up task for the borrower. Multiple fees can be added to a single follow-up.
1. Add a Follow-up to an Application.
2. Click HERE for guidance.
3. Complete the following fields:
a. Context: PAYMENT_COLLECTION
b. Add line Items.
c. Title (fee type/name).
d. Value (fee amount).
